Xisco Munoz has wished Will Hughes "all the best" after his move from Watford to Crystal Palace was confirmed by Patrick Vieria this afternoon.
In quotes, published by Football.London, the Eagles' manager has said that Hughes is not available to play for his side this weekend, but is now a member of his squad.
"He's a player we know quite well," said Vieira. "He's comfortable on the ball, he's a good link with the play going forward. I'm really glad to have him in the squad.
"He wont be ready for the squad tomorrow but I’m looking forward to working with him in the international break."
Speaking ahead of Sunday's game against Spurs, Munoz described Hughes as both a very good player and person.
"All I can say about Will is I wish all the best for him," said Munoz.
"He's a very good person, a very good player. I wish all the best for him."
