Andre Marriner will referee Watford's match against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
The Hornets will visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the second time since it opened two seasons ago, with Abdoulaye Doucoure scoring in a 1-1 draw last time there.
The game will be Marriner's second of the season after refereeing Liverpool's 3-0 win over Norwich City on the opening day of the season.
While the official was not in charge of any of Watford's Championship matches, he was in charge of three of their games the season they were relegated.
The Hornets claimed a draw, a win and a defeat in those fixtures, against Sheffield United, Norwich City and Liverpool.
