Watford have received no approach for Ismaila Sarr this summer and remain adamant the player is not for sale.
Reports have surfaced online in recent days, suggesting the player had requested to leave, amid interest from Liverpool.
However, club sources have confirmed there has been no contact from anyone regarding the Senegal winger and have reiterated their strong stance on his future, which they see firmly at Vicarage Road.
Furthermore, it is understood that there is no desire from the player to push for a move at this stage in his career, having only just returned to the Premier League with the Hornets.
The club know how important their record signing is going to be, if they are to succeed in their goal of top flight survival.
In last weekend's season opener against Aston Villa, the 23-year-old showed just how much of a key figure he is, scoring one and setting up another in a 3-2 win.
Additionally, Sarr has three years left on his current contract and would require a very high fee for anyone to try and test Watford's resolve.
