Dan Gosling is excited about seeing Cucho Hernandez playing in the Premier League and thinks he could be one of Watford's "match winners" in the upcoming season.
Despite the 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion, the Colombian had an impressive first outing at Vicarage Road, and could have had an assist to his name, but for Ismaila Sarr's squandered chance.
Speaking after the match, the midfielder described Cucho as "very exciting" and said big things were expected from him.
"He's been with us for two weeks now, although I think he's been on the books for a few years," said Gosling.
"He's come in sharp, aggressive, and he's got a lot of goals in training from cutting in, so we're expecting big things from him and all our attackers really, they're our match winners.
"We rely on those guys up front a lot and you could see today, a couple of times, one-on-one, he looks very, very exciting, very dynamic.
"He's quick, sharp, and we're expecting big things from him and our attackers."
The Watford midfielder was also impressed with Hernandez's personality and said he has an edge to him that will help him compete in England's top division.
"He's very aggressive," he continued.
"Today he's putting his head in where it hurts and sometimes wingers just don't want to do that, but he's got a nasty streak in him, which is good and what you need. He'll be fine."
