Watford goalkeeper Adam Parkes will spend next season in the National League after becoming one of six young Hornets to sign professional deals.
The 21-year-old has signed a one-year loan deal with Dover Athletic, who are managed by former Hornets midfielder Andy Hessenthaler.
The young keeper told the club website: "I'm going there to hopefully be number one, put in some good performances and see where that leaves me.
"Playing in front of fans makes such a difference [compared to Academy football]. The game is more fast-paced and the atmosphere is better, so it makes you play better because you're trying to impress everyone there."
Parkes, who had a loan spell at Barnet last season, makes the move after signing a one-year professional deal, with the option of a further year.
He is one of six players to agree to these terms, the others being midfielders Kamil Conteh and Daniel Phillips, and forwards Kane Crichlow, Dominic Hutchinson and JJ McKiernan
