Watford played their first pre-season match during last week with a 3-2 win over Millwall at the Hornets' training ground.
They will return there this weekend to face Colchester in their final behind-closed-doors game before supporters are permitted to attend their friendlies, starting with a home match against West Bromwich Albion next weekend.
By then the new out-field players' home kit will have been revealed, with goalkeeper Ben Foster giving fans a sneak preview of both the home and away goalkeeper shirts for the upcoming campaign.
Foster's reveal came after some supporters thought they had caught a glimpse of the new strip, worn by an 8-a-side team in Russia, but that has since been confirmed not to be the new shirt.
As well as a new kit, the Hornets could also show off some new players, with new goalkeeper Vincent Angelini saying he hopes to learn as much as he can from Ben Foster, while striker Dapo Mebude is also looking to take advantage of his new teammates' experience.
Josh King could make his first appearance at the Vic against West Brom and midfielder and former Bournemouth teammate Dan Gosling is backing him to succeed with the Hornets.
Two players who won't be making an appearance are Bosun Lawal and Adalberto Penaranda with the former set to seal a move to Celtic and the latter heading out on loan to Las Palmas.
One person who could be joining them in departing the club this summer is attacking midfielder Philip Zinckernagel, who is the subject of a loan approach from Nottingham Forest.
However, Ismaila Sarr is, for the time being at least, not expected to be departing this summer, with the club in a strong position to keep hold of their prize asset, despite interest from Liverpool.
Another rumoured move not likely to take place is the arrival of Jens Stryger Larsen, who it's understood is assessing a number of other options that he would prefer ahead of Watford.
Finally, Fantasy Premier League prices have been revealed and here is how much every Watford player will cost FPL players this season.
