Watford have appointed Jordi Garcia as their head of performance following the departure of Moises de Hoyo.
Garcia has had an impressive career to date, working as a performance and fitness coach with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Most recently the Spaniard was employed by Shabab Al Ahli in the UAE after a spell with Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande, who have won eight of the last ten titles in China.
Garcia announced his arrival on Twitter with a picture of the Watford training ground and a brief message saying he was excited to get started in the Premier League.
It reads: "New Office..Excited for the start a new chapter at β¦@WatfordFC as Head Performance & Fitness Coach of First Team, new country and new League β¦@premierleague."

The position became available earlier in the summer with the previous incumbent de Hoyo stepping down for personal reasons.
The former performance analyst wrote on LinkedIn: βThis was one of the most difficult decisions in my life. Finally, I will not continue at Watford FC.
βI had always the dream of working for the Premier League, but now, the closer I am to my dream, the further away I am from other important things. All the best Watford.β
