Kwadwo Baah has described joining Watford as the "biggest achievement" of his life so far.
Yesterday the Hornets announced the striker would be joining the club in July once his contract at Rochdale expires, having signed a five-year deal at the end of April.
The 18-year-old comes highly rated and almost joined Manchester City in the winter, only for the deal to fall through.
Despite getting an England Under 18s call up, and scoring three goals in League One last season, Baah has ranked the move to Vicarage Road as the greatest achievement of his 18 years so far.
“I’m very excited to join Watford,” the striker told the club website. “It’s been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League so for Watford to give me that opportunity, I’m very grateful. Watford showed me they really wanted me. They want me to prove myself to them and to show I can play in the Premier League and show the world what I can do.

The celebration was pretty impressive too 😮 pic.twitter.com/vVwIZEL8c7
“Getting called up by England was a big achievement, but Watford signing me this summer, so I can have the opportunity to play in the Premier League, is my biggest achievement in life so far. I’m really happy for that.”
Baah is looking forward to testing himself in the top flight in the upcoming season and has already received some messages from the Watford coaching staff.
Aside from the "top six" the teenager has his eyes on impressing against Crystal Palace, a side he played for at youth level.
A video of Baah once went viral while he was a ballboy for the Eagles when he ran onto the pitch and placed the ball down for then West Ham goalkeeper Adrian, who he thought was wasting time.

“I’m very excited to meet all the players and I’ve had a couple of messages from the coaches and other staff welcoming me to the club already, which is very nice,” he said.
“I’ve been watching the matches as I knew Watford were interested and when they won against Millwall [to secure promotion] I was over the moon.
“Like any kid I’m looking forward to playing against Man United, City, Chelsea, all the top six teams, but I grew up as a United fan so Old Trafford for me will be great. And it will be good to go back to where I started at Palace too.”
Asked what Watford fans could expect to see from their new arrival, he replied: “I’m a fast player, I like to dribble a lot and I like to think I’m an exciting player as well. I like scoring goals and creating them too.”
