Xisco Munoz said he would celebrate Watford's 6-0 win over Bristol City with just one beer, before he starts to plan Tuesday night's trip to Preston.
The Hornets picked up their first win in four games in emphatic fashion, thumping their visitors with a swashbuckling performance, during which the head coach said they showed real team spirit.
Nevertheless, his attentions have already turned to the midweek trip to Lancashire, where the aim is very much to build on what they produced today.
"I think this is our team spirit, we need to continue with this," said Munoz.
"We need to continue to understand all the players are important in our squad. I'm sure we will come back to some bad moments. This is true in football. The most important is continuing to work hard, staying together, and playing with this ambition.
"We know what is Watford, what we need to improve every day. And, of course, today we will enjoy, we will drink one beer at home, sure. But after 20 minutes we think about the next game."
The victory was a great response from Watford after three dismal performances in their previous three matches.
Munoz said he was delighted by the improvement on show, but said his team needed to continue getting better if they are to realise their ambitions of getting promoted this season.
"Sometimes you have difficult moments," he said. "Sometimes they try and they can't [play like this] sometimes the football does not allow you to have different situations.
"What I can say today is congratulation to the guys because the guys played a brilliant, brilliant game. They were excellent, played very nice. But it's important to be humble. And we need to continue.
"It's only three points, we need to continue. In two days we have another game and we need to get better every day, because if not, maybe it's not enough."
