Watford defenders Kiko Femenia and Adam Masina will assessed ahead this Saturday's game against Coventry City.
The pair missed out on Monday night's 2-1 home defeat to Queens Park Rangers with small knocks, but could be set to make a return this weekend.
Two other players who are nearing a return are strikers Stipe Perica and Isaac Success, both of whom returned to training this week, the club confirmed.
Both could soon be available for selection once again.
Elsewhere, Christian Kabasele is expected to be out for at least two more weeks, while Dan Gosling is unlikely to feature this weekend as he works on his fitness.
Goalkeeper Ben Foster will be out for a while yet with his broken finger.
