Watford have completed the signing of former Newcastle United goalkeeper Rob Elliot.
The shot stopper signs as a free agent having been released from his contract with the Tyneside club in the summer.
Earlier this week the Watford Observer reported that Elliot had been training with the Hornets with a view to signing a short-term deal at Vicarage Road.
He arrives as back up to Daniel Bachmann, with Ben Foster out injured with a broken finger and Pontus Dahlberg unavailable for a recall from his loan at HK Backen after undergoing surgery at the beginning of the month.
✍️ We are pleased to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Rob Elliot until the end of the season.
