Watford crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Newport County on Tuesday evening. Here's how we assessed their individual performances.
Daniel Bachmann - 5
A bad day at the office for the goalkeeper but not much he could've done to keep the goals out.
Toby Stevenson - 5.5
After an impressive attacking display at Oxford, Stevenson didn't make enough of a mark on the game.
Craig Dawson - 4.5
Was unable to make his experience count for much.
Derek Agyakwa - 5.5
Had a more positive second-half after moving out to the right, but still a lot to work on.
Francisco Sierralta - 5
Too easily bullied by the Newport strikers.
Ignacio Pussetto - 5.5
Benefited from a move further forward in the second-half and played his part in Watford's goal, but looked worryingly out of his depth in the first-half.
Joseph Hungbo - 4
No surprise to see Hungbo make way at half-time after a really poor display. Gave the ball away frequently and couldn't handle the physicality of the match.
Dan Phillips - 5.5
Made a big mistake for goal number three, but looked promising in moments before that.
James Garner - 5.5
Looked frustrated by those playing alongside him, who would give the ball away as soon as he passed it to them.
Glenn Murray - 3.5
Another experienced player who offered little in the way of an example to the youngsters on the pitch. Unsurprisingly taken off at the break, it simply wasn't working.
Jerome Sinclair - 5
A spirited showing, but ultimately one of little quality.
SUBS
Adalberto Penaranda - 6
Took his penalty well and produced flashes of exciting play, but downed tools following the third goal.
Stipe Perica - 4
Picked up a really needless red card with the game already gone.
Kane Crichlow - N/A
Joined the game too late to make an impact.
