Liverpool are one of at least three Premier League clubs to show initial interest in Watford winger Ismaila Sarr, as clubs prepare to test the Hornets resolve over their record signing.
While no bid has formally been registered as of yet, the Premier League champions have made contact with the player's representatives, as have Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace, asking about his availability.
It is understood however that both Wolves and Palace's interest would only materialise should their respective assets Adama Traore and Wilfried Zaha move elsewhere during the summer transfer window, with Sarr seen as a ready-made replacement.
Interest in the winger is not limited to the Premier League, with a number of French sides understood to be monitoring the 22-year-old's situation and clubs in both Spain and Germany also paying close attention.
