The Year 7B football team at Parmiter’s School in Garston have reached the quarter-final of the National Cup after a 3-0 win against Ravenswood School, from Bromley.
It was clear it was going to be a tough test for the side after the Year 11 team had already travelled there this season, but despite being put to the test throughout, the win proved to be fairly comfortable in the end.
Captain Anay Meheshwari was on the scoresheet while Daniel Jones netted twice to secure their passage into the last eight where they are due to face Richmond's Grey Court School at home on Thursday, February 27.
The previous round to this saw Parmiter's drawn at home to Kensington Aldridge Academy, where a comfortable 4-0 win saw them through.
Earlier in the competition, the side also recorded a 2-0 win against St Paul’s, from Bromley, and a 2-1 away success against Merton’s Rutlish School.
