Two teams from Watford-based Dolphina Gymnastics secured some excellent successes at the recent 45th International Grand Prix of Gymnastics, held in Nimes, France.
In the Coupe Jean Capo category, the team consisting of Rosie Harrington, Amelia-May Lyster, Holly Lau, Mia Warren and Ciara Kelly secured first place overall.
In the ‘Benjamin’ age category, members of that team all placed in the top five, with Warren taking first place followed by Harrington in second, Lyster and Lau in third and fourth respectively, and Kelly in fifth.
Keira Human, meanwhile, came first place overall in the ‘Minime’ age category.
There was also a first-place secured for Dolphina in the Coupe Ville de Nimes category, with a team made up of Sienna Salousti, Ameira Dransfield, Caitlin Li, Paige Stafford and Alyssa Krausz coming out on top.
Individual successes featured too, with Stafford coming first overall in the ‘Benjamin’ age category while Krausz placed second in the same group.
Elsewhere, Li placed second overall in the ‘Minime’ age category while in the ‘Cadette’ section, Salousti placed third overall and Dransfield came first in the floor competition and eighth overall,
Finally, in the Challenge Maurice Nolhac category, Lily Baker came third in the beam competition while finishing in sixth place overall.
