Ismaila Sarr has joined Watford on a five-year-deal from Rennes after months of negotiations.
Talks between the two clubs for the Senegalese winger have been ongoing throughout the summer and it seemed as if the Hornets had almost lost their chance as the transfer deadline loomed.
However, the club has since confirmed the player has joined for a what is a "club record fee" thought to be in the region of £30million.
The 21-year-old has 18 goals from 77 matches in total for Rennes, whom he joined after one season with French club Metz, where he scored five goals in 33 games.
He has four goals from 26 games in total for the Senegal national side.
He will wear the number 23 shirt for Watford.
