Watford will be without Abdoulaye Doucoure for their game against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, while Kiko Femenia and Sebastian Prodl also remain injured.
The Hornets' head coach Javi Gracia had hoped Doucoure and Femenia would be available for the midweek fixture at Wembley, but neither have been able to return.
Speaking ahead of the game, Gracia said: "We are in the same situation as last week, Prodl, Femenia and Doucoure are not training with the team and we are waiting for the moment when they come back.
"Doucoure is an important player for us, he has a little problem in his knee. It's getting better day by day, but it's not enough to play and train with the team.
"One week ago I thought he would be ready quicker but it wasn’t possible."
Meanwhile, recent reports had linked winger Gerard Deulofeu with a move to AC Milan, but Gracia said he knew nothing about it and that he was simply focused on preparations for Spurs.
He said: "To be honest, I don’t know anything about that. It's true, I don’t spend much time reading or listening to the news.
"I think he is comfortable here, he feels well, his focus in this moment is to improve his level and to try to help the team.
"I don’t have any news from the club, I'm focused on coaching the team and in this moment I don’t have any news."
Earlier this season Watford came from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 at Vicarage Road and Gracia wants his side to be aggressive in their pursuit of a league double.
He said: "You have to play a high level and play very very well, after that maybe you have some chances to get points.
"Playing away we are going to have very good defensive work.
"They have high quality players and we have to defend, but in the time we have the possession, we have to be aggressive and try to take the chances we create."
