Watford are in talks to sign South Korean defender Kim Min Jae, reports suggest.
The 22-year-old, whose nickname is ‘Monster’, is the subject of talks between the Hornets and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, following some impressive performances with the Korean club, according to a number of publications.
Jae has won back-to-back K League titles with Motors and was named K League Player of the Season in 2017.
He is currently on international duty in the United Arab Emirates as part of South Korea’s Asia Cup squad.
The same reports suggest Watford are not the only team interested in acquiring his services, with Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan also said to be hopeful of signing the defender.
