Watford have reportedly fought off interest from Juventus and Valencia to sign teenage Serbian striker Filip Stuparevic in the January transfer window.
The Hornets are said to have agreed a deal in the region of £2m for the 18-year-old who will arrive on a long-term deal from FK Vozdovac, according to reports.
Stuparevic, who made his senior debut aged 15, has scored 13 goals in 30 appearances at international level for Serbia’s Under-16s and Under-17s.
He has since been capped at Under-21 level by his country and has scored twice in six appearances for FK Vozdovac this campaign in the Serbian Superliga.
A work permit has also reportedly been agreed for the 18-year-old striker, who is seen as one of Serbia’s brightest young talents.
