Tommie Hoban has completed a season-long loan switch to Aberdeen.
The Watford defender has been the victim of cruel injury luck during his time with Watford and will look to gain first-team football while on loan with the Scottish outfit.
A product of the Watford youth set-up, Hoban’s most productive season with the Hornets came during the 2014/15 campaign, which saw him play 30 times as the Hornets secured promotion from the Championship.
Injury has since limited his chances and he is yet to make a Premier League outing for the club since their return to the top tier.
The 24-year-old spent the 2016/17 campaign on loan at Blackburn where he made 16 outings and scored once.
Javi Gracia has been experimenting with Hoban during pre-season, with the Spanish head coach deploying him in an unfamiliar central midfield role at times.
Watford have an inserted an option to recall the former Republic of Ireland youth international from his loan in January in the deal.
