Amazon has entered the Premier League rights market by agreeing a deal to televise 20 matches per season from the 2019-20 campaign.
The online retail giant has bought the rights to one full Bank Holiday round of games and to one further midweek round for the three seasons beginning of 2019/20, the Premier League announced.
BT has purchased the one other outstanding package of rights left available, taking its total to 52 matches per season under the new deal.
This package will cost BT £90 million, but Sky Sports will still show the majority of live games with 112, including Saturday night matches.
The deal sees a full round of matches shown live in the UK for the first time ever.
Once again supporters have been left facing increasing costs should they wish to watch every game of the 2019/20 campaign as they will need a further subscription to do so.
They will require a Prime membership to have access to the 20 games purchased by Amazon, which can be purchased for £79 a year or £7.99 a month.
Amazon will also show weekly highlights of all Premier League games throughout the campaign.
