West Ham United have reportedly identified Marco Silva as a potential replacement for David Moyes, who was relieved of his duties yesterday.
Silva is the front runner to replace Sam Allardyce at Everton providing the Toffees can reach an agreement with Watford over a compensation package.
The Hornets have complained to the Premier League about an unsolicited approach for Silva when he was in charge at Vicarage Road in November.
National reports claim Silva is now a target for the Hammers and is one of a number of names on their shortlist.
The London Stadium club are in the market for a marquee appointment and have been linked with former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini.
He joins Silva and Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez in the running to take the vacant job in east London.
Silva lasted just 26 games at Watford before being sacked, but that has appeared to have had little impact on his value and it is claimed the Portuguese boss would prefer to find a club near London.
