Molla Wague has been left out of Watford's revised Premier League squad.
Following the signings of Gerard Deulofeu and Didier Ndong, the number of overseas players rose to 18 and only a maxiumum of 17 are allowed in the 25-man squad.
With Younes Kaboul, Miguel Britos and Craig Cathcart - who was not included when the squad was submitted for the first half of the season due to his knee injury - all coming back to fitness, the on-loan centre-half has been the player to miss out.
Signed on loan from Udinese, the Mali international has made a total of seven appearances this season and the Hornets have stated he will remain at Vicarage Road to continue his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Fellow new signing Dodi Lukebakio is eligible as as an Under-21 player alongside such as Richarlison.
