Watford’s former sporting director, Luke Dowling, is set to taking up a similar role at Nottingham Forest.
Dowling served the Hornets for three years until he left when his contract expired in the summer, and he was later replaced by Andy Scott under the moniker of UK head of recruitment.
Forest had a bumper transfer deadline day yesterday, with six players joining - including Watford contingent Costel Pantilimon and Ben Watson.
