Ben Watson has been pulled out of Watford's matchday squad to face Stoke City tonight and is on his way to complete a loan deal at Nottingham Forest.
The 32-year-old has made eight starts for the Hornets this season, most recently at Southampton on Saturday in the FA Cup fourth round, but is now on his way to the East Midlands to tie up a loan deal with the Championship side.
Watson has been deemed surplus to requirements following the arrival of Didier Ndong earlier today, with Watford in dire need of trimming their squad to fit it within the 25-man maximum allowed by the Premier League.
An FA Cup winner with Wigan, where he scored the only goal in the 2013 final, Watson signed for the Hornets 18 months later and helped the club to promotion to the Premier League in 2015.
