Watford are still open to the possibility of letting Stefano Okaka go on Deadline Day, but there is no departure imminent or agreed for the Italian.
Okaka himself is keen to move on from Vicarage Road but was not sold on a move to Championship side Fulham, who were equally unsure about the prospect of stumping up £2 million for a six-month loan.
He was reportedly hours from joining Galatasaray earlier today but the deal fell through, while fellow suitors Malaga have instead taken Isaac Success on loan.
The Watford Observer understands that Watford are now actively content with their squad, pending Didier Ndong's loan arrival which is yet to be confirmed - and they would now not look to replace 28-year-old Okaka if he did leave.
