The opening round of the British Masters will be complete by this time next week, but to mark the biggest stand-alone sporting event to be staged in the Watford area for a decade tomorrow’s Watford Observer features a special pull-out looking ahead to the prestigious European Tour event at The Grove.
Leading with an interview with British Masters host Luke Donald, the 16-page in-paper publication also includes interviews with senior personnel from The Grove and the European Tour plus a course guide and key information for tournament week for the Sky Sports-backed event.
We have selected our ten players to watch while there is also a preview of Tuesday night’s Hero Challenge with Sky Sports presenter Rob Lee and the Pressure Putt event, which will be staged the following day when a star-studded Pro-Am will also be held at The Grove.
So to get in the mood for the return of top-class tournament golf to the area, pick up our guide, supported by SA Law, in tomorrow’s Watford Observer, priced 95p.
