Watford will host fellow Premier League side Newcastle United in the FA Cup third round.
The Hornets were the first name out of the hat during this evening’s draw and were handed a home tie against Steve McClaren’s Magpies.
Third round ties will be played between January 8 and 11 dependant on which games are selected for TV coverage.
When the two sides met earlier in the top flight campaign Quique Sanchez Flores’ side defeated Newcastle 2-1 at St James Park thanks to a brace from Odion Ighalo.
