SARACENS have made three changes in the forwards to create a formidable pack intent on dismantling Worcester Warriors in an all or nothing clash at Sixways tomorrow (Saturday, 3.05pm kick off).
Prop Kevin Yates, Italian hooker Fabio Ongaro and lock Iain Fullarton come in for the slightly lighter trio of Nick Lloyd, Shane Byrne and Hugh Vyvyan respectively as director of rugby Alan Gaffney hopes the pack bully Worcester into submission.
The only change in the backs sees wing Kameli Ratuvou return from a hamstring strain. In-form Dan Scarbrough is sacrificed but makes the bench as Gaffney keeps faith with another wing on a hot streak, Rodd Penney.
The Men in Black need a win to be certain of a place in the Premiership semi-finals while the Warriors will be gunning for glory to escape relegation ahead of Northampton Saints.
"We've played some good rugby all season and now have to turn it into something more tangible," said Gaffney. "I'm proud of what my players have achieved although it will be extremely disappointing if we don't extend our season beyond the weekend. We've done well and now it's time to see if we can compete now we're down to the nitty-gritty."
The Aussie added: "We know what we've got to do. We go there with as much to play for as them and the rewards are there for all to see.
"It's a massive game and one we've got to look to win. We can't sit back because the last thing we want to be doing is be relying upon other results to make the top four. We have to go there to play rugby and be positive."
Saracens: Castaignede, Penney, Sorrell, Farrell, Ratuvou, Jackson, de Kock; Yates, Ongaro, Visagie, Fullarton, Raiwalui (cpt), Chesney, Hill, Skirving. Replacements: Cairns, Johnston, Vyvyan, Seymour, Rauluni, Powell, Scarbrough.
