WEST HERTS Cricket Club have been boosted by the arrival of Steven Clark, an all-rounder who has had a spell with Leicestershire.
The Doncaster-born 24-year-old joins the Park Avenue club as Cricket Development Officer, taking over from Nick Walker who left the Stags midway through last season to, ironically, join Leicestershire.
Clark will help develop the club's colts section and also strengthen the club's playing resources.
He has played for Leicestershire, Essex second XI and Loughborough UCCE, and he showed his class by scoring a century in the friendly win over Southgate on Saturday.
Neal Parlane, the run machine from New Zealand, flew into London on Sunday and will be the Stags' overseas player for the third season.
