MARLON KING will continue his comeback from injury by taking his place on the Watford bench for the game against Blackburn tomorrow (Wednesday).
The striker made a surprise return to action on Saturday, playing the last 13 minutes of the FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United.
However, Aidy Boothroyd believes his star striker is still someway short of being match fit and will not be rushing his prized asset back early.
"I won't be going mad with him," said Boothroyd "I wanted to leave it (selecting King on the bench) as a surprise, I didn't actually make my mind up until Friday night and then told him after dinner.
"He was ready but is nowhere near where he was. He is very ring rusty so it will be a slowly, slowly process with him. I'll have him on the bench against Blackburn and look to slowly ease him back in."
Darius Henderson will again be missing with a calf problem.
