DAN SCARBROUGH says he is happy to see out his playing career with Saracens after signing a new contract.
The wing has inked an improved deal which will keep him at the club until 2010.
Fellow backs Glen Jackson, Neil de Kock, Kevin Sorrell and Adam Powell have signed new contracts this season and 29-year-old Scarbrough was more than happy to follow suit.
"I'm very pleased," he said. "I'm very settled here and it was a decision that I wanted to make - thankfully the club is keen to keep me. Things are going well and hopefully we can achieve something in the next couple of weeks - let alone the next few years."
Scarbrough, who can also play at fullback, joined Saracens at the start of the 2004/05 season from Leeds Tykes and predicts good times are around the corner for Alan Gaffney's title-chasing side.
"I'm really enjoying my time here," he added. "It's a club I can see myself being at until the end of my career.
Sarries director of rugby Alan Gaffney said Scarbrough's contract extension was fully deserved but remains puzzled why the Bradford-born speedster has not featured in Brian Ashton's new-look England set-up.
"Dan has had a very good year and it's disappointing that he's not had the chance of being able to play representative rugby this season," said the Aussie. "He's a very adventurous player and certainly someone we want on our side rather than against us. We're delighted with the way he has been playing this season and he's a very valuable player for Saracens."
