JAY DEMERIT insists the FA Cup quarter-final tie at Plymouth is "very winnable".
The American defender saw the Hornets drawn last out of the hat yesterday (Monday) to face Ian Holloway's men at Home Park and said: "We must be happy with the draw.
"The only thing that could have been better was to have it in front of the home fans. It's a very winnable game and we are all looking forward to it.
"It's exciting when the draw is made," he added. "In the league you get to go to all the big stadiums but to draw Plymouth is a better result for us. I'm not saying we couldn't beat Manchester United or Chelsea but the chances of us progressing are better after this draw."
DeMerit played in both of the drawn games against the Pilgrims last season and knows Watford will to have to do their homework ahead of next month's clash.
"They've changed a bit with Holloway coming in," added DeMerit. "I don't know too much about them but they've still got some of the players they had from last year and they are quality players. Ipsiwich showed that it is not always easy to play against Championship teams and it will be another fight for us."
