BEN FOSTER will win his first international cap when England take on Spain in tomorrow (Wednesday) night's friendly at Old Trafford.
Coach Steve McClaren has decided to pick the on-loan Watford keeper ahead of current number one Paul Robinson following an impressive season for the Hornets.
The debut continues an astonishing rise up the ranks for the 23-year-old who, prior to joining Manchester United at the start of last season, had made less than 20 competitive starts during loan spells with Kidderminster and Wrexham.
Tomorrow night's team is: Ben Foster (Watford); Gary Neville (Manchester United); Phil Neville (Everton); Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United); Jonathan Woodgate (Middlesbrough); Steven Gerrard (Liverpool); Michael Carrick (Manchester United); Shaun Wright-Phillips (Chelsea); Frank Lampard (Chelsea); Kieron Dyer (Newcastle United); Peter Crouch (Liverpool).
