Watford have confirmed Gino Pozzo is now the sole owner of the club.
The takeover of the Hornets in 2012 was by 'the Pozzo family' but Gino has always been in charge of the club.
The Watford Observer learned this week that Gino had taken sole ownership of the Hornets in the summer and that was confirmed by the club yesterday afternoon.
Father Gianpaolo is the owner of Udinese but he has no direct involvement with the Hornets and hasn't since the takeover - something the club also confirmed.
Watford said nothing prompted Gino becoming the 100 per cent owner of parent company Hornets Investment Limited and it was something which was always planned.
The club stated no money had been transferred and it was a case of formalising his ownership.
