Leicester City have not ended their interest in Troy Deeney and are planning to make another bid for the striker, the Watford Observer understands.
The Foxes have had two offers for the Hornets captain rejected in the past, understood to be worth £6.5m and £7.5m.
And we have been told Leicester are planning to make another bid for the 26-year-old.
The Foxes have already broken their transfer record this summer with the capture of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Leonardo Ulloa in a deal believed to be worth an initial £8m and it could rise to £10m.
Swansea City, Burnley, Everton, Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City have been interested in Deeney in the past. Burnley have since ruled themselves out of the running.
Deeney has proven himself to be one of the best strikers in the Championship. He scored 25 goals last season and netted 20 during the campaign before.
