Watford forward Diego Fabbrini has joined Siena on loan, the Italian side have confirmed.
The 23-year-old joined the Hornets in the summer from Udinese and has made 25 appearances this season.
He has found the net just once for the Golden Boys, in the 3-3 draw against Reading in August and failed to nail down a regular spot in Watford's starting XI.
The striker, who has been capped once by Italy, began his career with Empoli. He came through the Blues’ youth system and established himself in the club’s first team.
He departed in 2011 and joined Udinese. He made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Little Zebras during his first season for the club but struggled for regular first-team football during his second campaign.
He joined Palermo on loan in January 2013 and played eight times before returning to Udinese last summer.
Fabbrini agreed a permanent deal with Watford in July but returns to his native Italy after just over six months in England.
Siena currently sit 13th in Serie B and have claimed 28 points from their 22 matches this season.
