Saracens boss Mark McCall hailed his team's "fantastic" 37-28 Heineken Cup victory over Racing Metro but insists there is still work to do before the Men in Black can start talking about the knockout stages.

Owen Farrell racked up 32 points in the win as Sarries came from 22-9 behind to take home four points and remain top of Pool One with one match to play. 

McCall said: “In the last four years we have been building in this competition and a win against a very good French side in France continues that.

“It was a fantastic performance and we’re very proud of the team after bouncing back from the setbacks in the first half of an early injury, the tries and a yellow card.

“It was very important to stay in touch to feel like we could still win the game and Owen did that with his penalties."

Saracens play Edinburgh at Vicarage Road next week, knowing that a win will see them guaranteed a place in the next round for only the third time in the club's history.

“To be only seven points down at half-time gave us belief and the performance from everybody in the side was huge in the second half," McCall said.

"But we still have an important job to do next week to secure top spot.”
