THIS year (2005) will see celebrations to mark 60 years since the end of World War Two. Jan Peace from Garston Lane, Garston, wrote in.
"There will be national events and Watford Museum will be marking the occasion by creating a 'Dig for Victory' vegetable garden at the front of the museum.
"What memories do readers have of life in 1945? Not just the VE and VJ parties, but about life at home as the war was coming to the end and in the months immediately after as servicemen began to come home."
