My aunt died recently in Wolverhampton, aged 90, and among her effects we found a pre-war photo of Dennis wearing the uniform of a RAF Sargeant.
With it was a copy of a letter, written by Dennis in the event of his death, and sent by his mother to friends and acquaintances around the country.
We (my sister and I) would like to know how our aunt came to know Dennis, and what was the connection between them. Did he have any links with Wolverhampton?
Was he perhaps a member of the operatic society with which she was involved?
If anyone remembers Dennis Cramp, and can help to answer any of these questions, perhaps they would kindly contact me.
