Viewers of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has been left reeling after Coleen Rooney finally discussed Rebekah Vardy and the Wagatha Christie drama.

It comes as the reality TV show marks a new series seeing stars including Rooney, McFly’s Danny Jones, GK Barry and Melvin Odoom all enter the jungle.

When it was first announced that Rooney would be in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, many viewers from home all hoped she would bring up Vardy.

Although it was doubtful she would, Rooney made a few comments about the Wagatha Christie drama.

Talking to campmates, Rooney said: “I was on to it, but I wasn't on to what had happened”.

Adding: “I didn't think it [the post] would give as much attention as it did.”

Later adding: "I felt ashamed going to court. I felt like we were putting on a whole show for the world.

"It became a joke and it was disappointing. It wasn't a joke to me."

Reacting to Rooney, campmate GK Barry said: “Coleen spoke about Wagatha. It was so interesting to hear it".

Discussing who owned the term 'Wagatha Christie', Rooney said: "She does."

The case of Wagatha Christie began on October 9, 2019 when Rooney posted to X (formerly Twitter) to claim that Vardy had been leaking private information about her to The Sun.

She shared that “for a few years” on her private account she had just Vardy as the only follower believing that she was leaking her stories.
