ITV has officially confirmed the spin-off show of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! will be returning for the first time in four years, under a new name.

During Richard Arnold's entertainment segment, the three new hosts of I’m a Celebrity Unpacked – comedian Joel Dommett, Sam Thompson and DJ Kemi Rodgers were announced on Good Morning Britain (GMB) today.

Alongside presenters Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins, Joel, who participated in I’m a Celeb in 2016, explained: "I feel like it's the right time to bring it back.

"There's a thirst for it."

He also told GMB viewers: “I did the extra show for three years, which I loved.

“I feel like I learned everything there. And then it stopped for a couple of years and it feels like the right time to bring it back.

“We’re really sort of mixing it up. We’re changing it a lot.”

Sam, who is the current reigning King of the jungle added: "I am not joking, it [I’m a Celeb] is the best show on TV.

"Being a part of it, then being on the other side, is a dream come true."

Joel said it’s a "real privilege" to be a part of the ITV2 show.

The Masked Singer host also revealed I’m a Celeb Unpacked will see chats with presenters Ant and Dec every day, as well as interviews with campmates.

However, some fans aren’t too impressed with the announcement as one said they will be “avoiding at all costs".

They posted on X: “Good god , thats another show to book in my avoid at all costs #gmb”

Another wrote: “What kind of shambles is this? #GMB”

Someone else shared: “Be nice to see some new talent instead of this lot #gmb”
