Work to upgrade the Caravan Lane footpath has been completed.
The lane, which runs from the east end of High Street in Rickmansworth towards Croxley Barn was closed while renovation work was carried out.
Three Rivers District Council complained to the county council and the undergrowth was cut back and the walking surface was compacted.
