An Olympic torch bearer will visit the Three Rivers Museum to give Rickmansworth residents a chance to see the famous torch.

Alice Breheny completed her leg of the torch relay in Hatfield on July 8, and has raising tens of thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK.

The 38-year-old will visit the museum, in the High Street, on August 11 from 11am to 12.30pm.

She posthumously nominated her sister, who died from brain cancer last year, with the aim of carrying the torch in her honour.

Since her death Ms Breheny said she focussed on raising money for research into brain cancer and this year alone has collected £35,000.
