The Harlequin shopping centre will be opening longer on Sundays for the duration of the Olympic games, which started this week.
The centre’s trading hours will go from 11am to 5pm to 10am to 6pm every Sunday until September 9.
The move comes after traders at The Harlequin voted to take advantage of the Government’s offer for businesses to extend opening hours during the games.
The initiative is aimed at helping the country’s economy cash in on the influx of people heading to the capital for the Olympics.
The shopping centre has said it is also waiving parking charges from 9am to noon on Sundays during the games.
