A teenage girl has been left with fractured skull after an alleged attack in Watford town centre yesterday evening.
Police were called at 9.09pm and found the 19-year-old victim bleeding with head injuries in High Street.
She was later taken to Watford General Hospital were a scan showed she had a fracture to her skull.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said a 27-year-old man from Watford has since been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
