Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in relation with an alleged attempted fraud.
The images relate to an incident were a pensioner in his 70s was approached by a man at his home in Watford on Monday, February 13, though police have only released the image today.
The man at the door is alleged to have claimed to have carried out building work on the resident’s property and demanded to be paid for it.
The pensioner refused.
Anyone who recognises the man in the images or has any information about the incident is asked to call Hertfordshire Constabulary on 101, quoting crime reference C4/12/334. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be telephoned anonymously on 0800 555111.
