Three people from Radlett have been arrested in connection with an alleged vehicle selling scam.
Police are currently investigating a case in which alleged victims lost large sums of cash after agreeing to by cars over the internet.
Officers said potential victims of the scam live as far away as the USA.
A 26-year-old man, a 38-year-old man and 35-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
