A children’s afterschool club in the Vicarage and Holywell ward has been saved by a grant from Hertfordshire County Council.
Xtra Time Kidz Club, which is based in Tolpits Lane, has been given £2,772 to help keep it up and running.
The club was set up after the closure of a similar facility in the area that was closed down after 12 years, leaving more than 50 families stuck without before and after school child care.
