Five arrested in police raids across Watford
Five people have now been arrested following a series of police raids carried out across Watford this morning.
Around 60 officers targeted eight addresses mainly in north Watford and one in Stanmore as part of Operation Scorpion.
Among those arrested were a 17-year-old boy from Stanmore on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and a 19-year-old man from St Albans on suspicion of supplying Class B drugs.
A 28-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, both from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of theft. A 19-year-old man from Watford was also arrested this morning, on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug. He received a police caution.
